I like to combine my new passion of Encaustic with an old one, photography. Photo Encaustic lets me create effects and dimension in a piece that I could not do otherwise. In some pieces the encaustic wax helps create a nostalgic feeling. At times I just like to try new things and push the boundaries of what a medium can do. Why limit your self when the creative juices are flowing. Encaustic does not mix with everything just as oil and acrylic don’t mix but I can find plenty of ways to work with it. Check out my collection Below. I Find that sometimes I just want mix it up and explore new ideas with different mediums. This section you will see many pieces where I mix the mediums and and I think the results are great.
